Do you require a security bond?
Yes, a credit card authorisation or imprint is required when you check in. This authorisation may be used to cover incidental items including but not limited to telephone charges, security bond or deposit for any breakages or damage incurred during your stay or cleaning charges in excess of the normal level of cleaning. Where a credit card is not available a minimum $200.00 cash deposit will be required on check-in.
Are children welcome at Evanslea?
Children are welcome at Evanslea. Please note that children must be supervised at all times throughout your stay as our property is located on river frontage. Additionally children must be continually supervised when using the pool.
Is there handicap access?
Evanslea is set amongst 4.5 acres of pristine countryside. Access to our cottages and property is currently difficult for wheelchairs. We will be reviewing this in the future.
What are your reception/office hours?
Our standard hours are 9-5 but we are contactable as needed outside of these times on Mob: 0455 505 882
Is after hours check in or check out available?
After hours check in or check out may be available depending on our commitments to our other guests. Please enquire directly with us.
How often is the accommodation serviced?
Your accommodation is serviced prior to your stay. For extended stays beyond 3 nights additional servicing will be arranged.
Is undercover parking available?
Undercover parking is available for all of our guests in the form of one car space per cottage or house. We are currently working on extending our undercover parking to increase spaces guests in the main house and for weddings.
What is included in the accommodation price?
All linen, toiletries, kitchen facilities and access to our beautiful property including the pool is included for all guests of Evanslea. Other special treats are added to make you feel welcome and comfortable.
Is Wi Fi available?
Yes, Wi Fi is available. Please see log in details in our information folder.
What power is available in the rooms?
Standard 240 volt 50Hz power with 3-pin power points are available in all of our accommodation. Should you require international adapters, we have a range available at reception. A deposit of $10 is required which is refundable upon return of the adpator.
Do you have extra beds?
Some limited roll out extra beds are available for the cottages and house, depending on your individual needs and arrangements with us.
Are pets allowed?
Usually pets are allowed. Please discuss your pet and requirements when making your booking. Our gardens are pristine and available to all guests so we ask that you always pick up after your pets and keep them under control throughout the duration of your stay.
Can I smoke with in the Evanslea grounds or in my accommodation?
There is strictly no smoking in any of the Evanslea Cottages or Evanslea House. You may smoke outside and use the ashtrays provided.
What is there to do in Mudgee?
There is nearly always something to do in Mudgee. Markets, festivals, wineries and great restaurants and cafes in addition to concerts and live shows.
